1st International Conference on Crowdsourcing, Communities and Co-creation

São Paulo will host the 1st International Conference on Crowdsourcing, Communities and Co-creation on August 29, 2011. This is a unique opportunity to hear from companies in Brazil and from around the world who are reorganizing the way they innovate, service, and market using crowdsourcing.

The event is organized by Mutopo and has several relevant sponsors and supporters. The whole idea lies on the fact that as organizations connect more with outsiders, new opportunities are emerging. Social Media has focused on conversations, but the next big question is what to do with people beyond talking. The answer would point to Co-creation, Crowdsourcing and Communities.

Besides Marina Miranda, head of Mutopo Brazil and the main organizer of the conference, the list of local and international speakers includes several relevant players in the crowdsourcing scene. From Germany, Bastian Unterberg will represent JOVOTO. The speakers from US are Carl Esposti (Crowdsourcing.org), Irving Fain (Crowdtwist), Lucas Biewald (Crowdflower) and Shaun Abrahamson (Mutopo). The Brazilian speakers are Fabio Seixas (Camiseteria), Fernando Cosenza (Boa Vista Serviços), Guga Ketzer (Loducca), Luiz Fernando Guggenberger (Fundação Telefônica), Mario Teza (Campus Party) Rafael Zatti (ideias.me), Reinaldo Pamponet (itsnoon.net) and Romeo Busarello (Tecnisa). For additional info about the speakers, visit here.

The event starts at 8:30a.m. at Theatro Vivo and will have several keynotes, case studies and discussions (see schedule here). There are still some spots. Don’t lose your chance and register for the event here. Hope to see you there!
