I CampinasTECH Meetup – Investments on July 7, 2011 at FEEC Unicamp

 

Now it is official, the I CampinasTECH Meetup will occur on July 7, 2011 at FEEC (Electrical and Computer Engineering School) Unicamp. If you are an awesome startup looking for investments, that’s your chance!

IVP, Astella, São Paulo Anjos, Gávea Angels, Floripa Angels, Criatec, Inseed (and maybe more) will be there and the organizers have planned a very innovative and dynamic way to connect all entrepreneurs and investor with mutual interests.

The panel will go straight to the point: entrepreneurs that have recently received investments will share their lessons learned, telling us how they’ve got it and the practical do & don’ts, based on their experience.

The tentative agenda:

6:00pm – 6:30pm: Welcome

6:30pm – 7:30pm: Panel – How I was invested?

7:30 pm – 7:45pm: Questions & Answers

7:45pm – 9:00pm: Investors/Entrepreneurs Pitches & Feedbacks (see the procedure below)

9:00pm – 9:30pm: Best pitches selection and presentation

9:30pm – 22:30pm: Free networking

The event will be opened by Unicamp and Rui Rabelo, the Secretary of Commerce, Industry, Services and Tourism of Campinas City.

Before the event

Entrepreneurs: will tell the organizers about their business details

Investors: will tell the organizers what kind of deal they are interested to.

Organizers: will match entrepreneurs and investors with common interests

So, answer carefully all the questions asked during your subscription to the event to assure the best match!

During the event

Each investor will have his own table and will receive the previously selected entrepreneurs for their 3 min elevator pitches. The investor will give an up to 2 min feedback for each pitch.

Even if you are not ready to ask for investments, be there to connect with the most exciting change makers and learn with the others pitches and feedbacks!

After this first interaction, the investors will meet up with the organizers to choose the best pitches of the night. Those entrepreneurs will have the chance to present it for all other change makers in the event.

The advice for all entrepreneurs is don’t lose your chance: prepare yourself carefully and train your pitch, again and again.
