Unicamp Challenge 2012 & University of Cambridge to offer an Entrepreneurship Workshop

Last year we have extensively covered the first edition of Unicamp Challenge at Innoveur. After all the great results, the university's Innovation Agency (Inova Unicamp) launched the second edition a couple of weeks ago. In 2012, the business model competition targets undergrad and grad students from all over the country. The deadline to apply is March 30.

Entrepreneurship Workshop by University of Cambridge (April 4)

Shailendra Vyakarnam, Diretor of the Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning of University of Cambridge, will talk about entrepreneurship, business development and will support the teams to develop their business models, giving feedback for their elevator pitches.

I CodeFest Campinas - New dates and deadlines

The I CodeFest Campinas has changed the dates and deadlines. 

The application process now runs until September 23, 2011. On October 13, 2011 the teams will deliver the project’s executive summary and the event’s official opening occurs on the next day. On the 15th, additional tasks will be demanded and the execution will be followed up by the mentors to assess the team work skills of the attendees.

On October 16, 2011, the projects will be finalized and judged by a committee of entrepreneurs, executives and professors.

Caipira Ágil (Agile Hick) - Another great event @Unicamp on July 2011

On July 23, 2011 happens the first Caipira Ágil (Agile Hick) at FEEC Unicamp. The purpose of the event is to gather the Agile Community of Campinas area during a whole day to debate, teach and learn the Agile Culture, Management and Development Techniques.

GDE - The Startup Behind The Unicamp’s Academic Support Network

I have talked with another startup that emerged from a real problem of the Unicamp’s community. As we have seen in the post about Unicaronas, the reality of the students is full of real problems to be solved and this reality motivated the first GDE’s product launch.

GDE is defined as “a network for academic support” and they are already supporting about 12,000 Unicamp's students.
